How much does a reading cost?

One page credit per page you choose to read. Credits are prepaid in packs; the review step shows the exact number a letter needs before you buy or spend anything. There is no free trial and no subscription.

A word or name is wrong

Open the letter, choose “Correct transcription” (or modern wording) and save your fix. The original page stays beside it.

A reading failed

Failed readings show whether any credits were used; credits held for a failed reading are released. Clearer, well-lit photos of the whole page usually help.

I paid but don’t see my credits

Credits are added once Stripe confirms the payment to Heirloom, which can take a few minutes. Check the Page credits screen again shortly.

Signing in

Use the method you first signed in with. If your account uses Google, keep using Google; if it uses email codes, keep using email codes. Linking both methods to one account isn't available yet.
