Terms of use
This is a draft, not a final policy
It has not been reviewed and is not yet in effect. It describes how the Heirloom web beta is being built; details will change before launch.
The service
Heirloom produces transcriptions, modern wording and translations of handwritten documents with an AI model. Readings can contain mistakes and should be checked against the original.
Your content
Upload only documents you are entitled to share. You keep any rights you have in your documents.
Pages and payments
Readings use pages from your balance. Page packs are bought through Stripe at the price shown before payment. Refund, expiry and dispute terms will be set out here before purchases are offered.
To be completed before launch
- Operator details, governing law and contact.
- Acceptable use, account termination and liability terms.
